Educated at the Cleveland Institute of Art, with a 5-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design, Ms. Schloss spent over 30 years as a graphic designer and art director for studios in Philadelphia. An opportunity to relocate brought her family to Cody, Wyoming, and a class by Sheila Rieman inspired her to return to the fine arts and discover the "marvelously pure colors" of pastels. Always considered a fine draftsman, her drawing skills combine with her use of color and the interplay of light, maximizing the strength of this media.

A true lover of all things wild and natural, she works with enthusiasm, infusing her work with sparkle, drawing on her years as a designer for composition, pattern, and a finely tuned color sense. She has numerous scholarships, awards and commissions to her credit, and work in private collections across the country.
